The photographs in this gallery were taken over a 15 year period directly, or indirectly, as part of my work as, first, a volunteer doctor with the International Porter Protection Group (IPPG) at their rescue post and porter shelter at Machermo in the Gokyo Valley of Nepal and then, subsequently, as Chair of Trustees of the charity IPPG(UK).
